I was looking for a cozy coffee shop to start my Sunday morning off right, so I checked out the Supercoffee. Conveniently located at 1148 Weston Rd, York. They’re open every day from 6.30AM to 6PM. This coffee shop offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing with a hot drink and a tasty meal.

At Supercoffee, I found a variety of options to suit my taste preferences. They offer a range of delicious coffee blends, as well as tea and hot chocolate for non-coffee drinkers. They also offer a bite to eat from their selection of meals.

Initial Impressions

From the moment I walked into the coffee shop, the first impression I got was how cozy it felt. It was the same feeling I felt when I looked at their website.

Despite its small size and limited number of tables, it wasn’t too crowded, and I was able to find a seat easily. I also noticed that there were only three staff members working, which meant that there wasn’t a lot of chaos or noise.

When I approached the counter to place my order, I only had to wait for 2-3 minutes because the staff members were working together efficiently. They seemed well-organized and attentive to each customer’s needs. I appreciated that they took the time to answer my questions about the menu and offered recommendations for drinks and food.

It’s worth noting that while this coffee shop has many positive qualities, it unfortunately doesn’t have wheelchair accessibility. However, it’s good to know that there is nearby parking available with a 1 hour time limit.

Food and Beverages

During my visit to the Supercoffee, I decided to order a small cold chocolate and a chocolate croissant. While I found the chocolate to be enjoyable, I felt that the croissant was a bit dry for my taste, but overall I found the items I ordered to be a good value for the price. I noticed that they also have some baked good such as carrot cakes, chocolate banana muffins, and cookies, which all look delicious. Maybe next time I will try a muffin.

Service

Nancy was the one who took my order that day. She was very friendly and fun. She gave me some suggestions on what drink I should order. Because the shop wasn’t too busy at the time, I received my drink less than 5 minutes after ordering.

However, there was a minus thing that I gave to the shop which was they never asked me that I wanted to eat in or not, which ended up with me eating out a paper take out bag with plastic cup instead of their nice dishes and cups.

Ambiance

Supercoffee’s space has been transformed into a cozy and inviting environment that provides customers with a welcoming atmosphere in which to enjoy their food and drinks.

The coffee shop’s small size and the limited number of tables create a sense of intimacy, making it feel like a place where I can relax and unwind. The comfortable seating and warm lighting add to the cozy feel of the space, and the friendly staff help to create a welcoming environment that makes I feel right at home.

Overall, the coffee shop seems to have done a great job of transforming the space into a place that people want to spend time in. The cozy ambiance and friendly atmosphere make it a great spot to catch up with friends, get some work done, or simply enjoy a warm cup of coffee on a lazy Sunday morning.

Of course, I didn’t forget to check out their washroom. The washroom was small but very clean.

Summary

Overall, Supercoffee is a great place to sit down and enjoy some great food and drink weather its hot or cold outside. It’s very warm and welcoming and clean . I definitely would come back and try their other drinks as well as baked good. I would give this place 👍🏻 👍🏻

Recommendation

While it sounds like I had an enjoyable experience at the coffee shop, there may be ways that they can improve to enhance my experience even further. One thing they could do is offer more variety in their menu options, providing customers with a wider range of choices to suit different tastes and preferences.

Additionally, it may be helpful for the coffee shop to consider adding more seating to accommodate a larger number of customers during peak hours. This would make it easier for groups of people to find a spot to sit together and enjoy their coffee and meals.

Lastly, providing wheelchair accessibility would be an important improvement for the coffee shop to consider. This would make it possible for everyone to enjoy the cozy ambiance and delicious offerings, regardless of mobility challenges.
